Hatch River Expeditions - Our Philosophy

WE BELIEVE IN PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Hatch River Expeditions is proud of the commitment that we have made to protect, conserve, and preserve the Grand Canyon. We recycle many of the waste materials we produce, run Biodiesel fuel in many of our vehicles, compost food waste, and to the extent possible try to purchase locally grown or made foods and goods. In addition, we are proud partners with the Leave No Trace Organization.

WE BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK TO THE CANYON AND OUR COMMUNITY

Hatch River Expeditions supports many organizations that enrich the Grand Canyon community and the Canyon itself. Some of these groups are:

• The Grand Canyon River Runners Association: Dedicated to preserving public access in the Grand Canyon with a focus on commercial rafting guests in particular.
• The Whale Foundation: Supports the health and well being of river guides in the Grand Canyon.
• Grand Canyon River Guides: Educating river guides on topics of interest to their jobs and the Canyon in general.
• Grand Canyon Conservation Fund: Funding projects and river trips that benefit the preservation and access issues in the Grand Canyon.
  

In addition we are proud to support:

• The American Cancer Society by donating two 7-day motorized trips to Auction at the Arizona Chapter's annual fundraiser the Jewel Ball.
• The Breast Cancer 3 Day - by sponsoring walkers since 2004.
• Girl Scouts of America by putting Girls Scout Cookies on every river trip for the past 15 years
• Horizons Survivors Program - Donation.

WE BELIEVE IN PROVIDING THE SAFEST, MOST EXHILARTING AND MEMORABLE WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIPS ON THE COLORADO RIVER THROUGH THE GRAND CANYON AT A REASONABLE PRICE.
