Grand Canyon Motorized River Rafting Expeditions


7 DAY FULL GRAND CANYON MOTORIZED WHITEWATER EXPEDITION

Come join us for 6 nights and 7 days exploring the best of what the Grand Canyon has to offer. Your trip begins in Marble Canyon, Arizona where you are met by our staff the morning of your launch. After checking in and a brief orientation, you will board our vans for the 20 minute ride to Lee’s Ferry where the rafts and crew will be waiting. After your boatman introduction and your beverages and night gear are loaded and tightened down your life jacket is fitted.  The trip leader will give you a safety orientation and answer any last minute questions, then you climb onto the raft to begin your adventure on the Colorado River. You will travel 188 river miles through the beautiful Grand Canyon. Each day stopping to explore a new side canyon, Puebloan ruin, a waterfall, or an aqua blue stream. Each night after a hearty feast  you will fall asleep on a star lit beach. This trip ends on your 7th morning at Whitmore Wash where you will board a helicopter for a scenic ride out of the Canyon to Bar 10 Ranch. From there you board a fixed wing aircraft that will transport you back to Las Vegas, NV or Marble Canyon, AZ;  Page, AZ; or Grand Canyon South Rim, AZ.

8 DAY FULL GRAND CANYON MOTORIZED EXPEDITION

The 8-day is a favorite among those who cannot get enough fun.  It is the same great trip as our 7-day expedition above with one extra day to explore, play, and enjoy the Grand Canyon.

HALF GRAND CANYON MOTORIZED TRIP

The same great trip as our 7-day motorized trip except it is half the time and half the Grand Canyon.

4-DAY UPPER GRAND CANYON MOTORIZED EXPEDITION

You begin your trip at Lee’s Ferry, in Marble Canyon, Arizona and explore the gorgeous 89 miles of the upper Canyon for 3 days.  This might include Frisbee in Redwall Cavern, a hike to Puebloan granaries at Nankoweep, a visit to Silver Grotto or floating in your life jacket down the Little Colorado.  The sites you see are based on group discussion and your trip leader’s expertise.  It will definitely include the “Roaring Twenties”, “Hance” and “Sockdolager” to name a few fantastic rapids.  On the fourth morning after breakfast, you begin with an escorted hike from the Phantom Ranch area ascending Bright Angel Trail to the beautiful SouthRim of the Grand Canyon.

4-DAY LOWER GRAND CANYON MOTORIZED EXPEDITION

After checking in with your hiking guide at Bright Angel Lodge, you begin your escorted hike into the Canyon via Bright Angel Trail.  You will meet up with the boats in the Phantom Ranch area and spend the next 3 days discovering the lower half of the Canyon. The lower canyon might include Travertine Canyon Elves Chasm, or the milky blue pools of lower Havasu.  The sites you see are based on group discussion and your trip leader’s expertise.  It will definitely include “Hermit”, “The Gems”, and lastly, “Lava” to name a few rapids on the lower half.  This trip ends on your 4th morning at Whitmore Wash where you will board a helicopter for a scenic ride out of the Canyon to Bar 10 Ranch. There you will board a fixed wing aircraft that will transport you back to Las Vegas, NV or Marble Canyon, AZ; Page, AZ;  or Grand Canyon South Rim, AZ.

NOTE: Hiking in the Grand Canyon is a strenuous activity, suitable only for those in good physical condition. Proper conditioning prior to your departure is a must.

Trails in Grand Canyon are not maintained and can be rough and rocky, and most have a significant vertical exchange. If you suffer from any medical conditions, we strongly suggest you visit your physician and get their OK before reserving a hiking trip with us.
